Pen and Ink is a wonderful medium to work in.  I love how ink provides the ability to dramatically build up rich contrast in drawings.  When I started drawing, I was a dedicated graphite artist, but once I tried ink, I never went back.  I prefer a technique called stippling, which is drawing with a series of dots.  To create a drawing in stipple, you tend to fall into a rhythm.  Tap-tap-tap away, and a drawing emerges.  To me, that just never gets old.
