It could be said she was down to earth.  She had no choice in the matter, as most turtles don’t.  She was not just another mud-dwelling creature, though.  She wore her pearls with prima donna pride, as most turtles should.
 
Who knew a turtle could be so flashy?  Myrtle is made with a sparkling pearl-and-silver colored pendant (and her belly is of brushed gold), and finished with a glamorous string of pearls all around her shell.  Made of dark annealed wire, this elegant turtle measures 2.25 inches tall by 3.25 inches long by 2.75 inches wide.
